Cinematography has always been my strongest skill and the area of filmmaking I'm most passionate about. I've been shooting for over eight years, having started with nothing more than my phone. Over that time, I've developed a strong eye for composition, framing, lighting and the finer details that make an image look professional.
Lighting is a huge part of my approach to cinematography. I work closely with the gaffer to shape and control light, as well as with the director to understand exactly what they want each scene to look and feel like. I put a lot of thought into every shot and take pride in being able to achieve a specific visual style regardless of the environment, budget or size of the production.
I've worked on productions of varying scales and am comfortable adapting to whatever resources are available. I've also built up an extensive collection of professional camera equipment, including my primary camera, the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, a DJI Ronin RS 3 Pro, an Easyrig stabilization system, a full set of DZO Vespid cinema primes and a wide range of additional camera accessories and support equipment.
I've had the opportunity to work with many great clients over the years, and making sure they're happy with the final image is something I take seriously. Regardless of the scale of a project, my priority is always to deliver cinematography that looks polished, intentional and professional.

Beyond Alive Films is a production company founded by Daniel Silverman.
Created primarily as a home for Daniel's film-related projects, Beyond Alive will from this day onwards be the company associated with any and all collaborative efforts made between Daniel and any and all clientele and their respective creative projects he will be collaborating on.
In other words, Beyond Alive Films serves as the banner under which Daniel develops his own creative work and collaborates with clients on theirs.
As for the name, it's based on a simple philosophy: being alive is great, but being Beyond Alive is even better.
